Mickey Llew is proud to announce not the expansion of our services to Cape Town and the appointment of Craig Wilson as Organic Search Lead to spearhead our efforts in there.
“Opening the Mickey Llew office in Muizenberg is a huge celebration for us, as the agency bucks the trend and continues to thrive and grow in a climate when many start-ups struggle to build and maintain momentum,” says David Jenkins, co-founder of Mickey Llew. “Having Craig locally based in Cape Town expands our ability to offer the excellent, hands-on service that our clients have come to expect from us, to a larger client base.”
Craig has been in the international digital industry for more than 18 years, having worked as head of digital, head of search, and head of natural search at several renowned agencies including Mirum Agency / Wunderman Thompson, Creative Confusion, I Spy Search Marketing (since acquired by Dentsu Aegis Network – London), and Weboptimiser Ltd (London).
He has worked closely with WordPress and Drupal developers, paid search consultants, social media campaign managers and community managers, copywriters and bloggers, with these diverse collaborations having contributed to his progressive and forward-thinking strategic digital skills.
“I’ve worked on diverse client portfolios, from large global multinationals to small local businesses, leading teams to implement strategies and achieve targets, using my natural curiosity about emerging technologies and how they will impact humanity,” Craig says. “I’m looking forward to growing and building a Cape Town team to build a clearly driven, results-focused Cape Town-based agency that delivers inspiring results.”
Craig’s family is the driving force behind everything that he does, and he’s inspired by Cape Town’s natural beauty, surfing, and the ocean along the False Bay coastline, which he celebrates by posting his own images on his Surfers Corner blog.
